Mutton dum biryani

One more mutton biryani, which I prepared for Eid (Ramzan), lamb/mutton dum biryani (kache ghost ki biryani) Hyderabad style, which I could not resist to share with you. I am just keep trying all different kinds of biryani, as I am a big lover of biryani and never get satisfied after trying so many biryanis. Though I prepared this biryani for eid but my husband’s comment after eating this biryani was, he felt the same taste as the biryani served in our marriages (muslim biryani), which gave me immense happiness and satisfaction.

Roast chicken

Whole roasted chicken, the name itself makes me so appetizing and feel hungry. In London and other western countries, it is a special feast (apart from other meats) on Sunday or any time, every ones favourite, whenever family desires, as all the family members will be at home . A family feast and delicious lunch supper, what else you need to enjoy with chicken, roasted potatoes, with boiled baby carrots and gravy made after scraping the left over in the tray with the chicken fat and adding chicken stock or water and flour for thickening.

Lemony Roast chicken

Whole roast chicken, seems easy but it has to be cooked properly and the chicken has to be juicy from inside. There are so many ways to roast a whole chicken with different herbs. This time iam sharing with you a very wonderful, fragrant and full of aroma and delicious lemony flavoured chicken with dry Italian herbs and with special ingredient lemon salt, if not available just add fresh lemon juice and with more dry herbs. I always like my chicken to be marinated well not with a very light marinade.

Banana kesari or banana kesari bath

Banana rava kesari is a popular south Indian sweet which is easy and quick to prepare. Banana kesari rava is prepared with semolina, Bombay rava, which is roasted and added in sugar water, with colour and flavour of your taste. In Chennai and other south Indian restaurant’s you will find banana kesari either plain in colour or orange or yellow colour is added. I love to keep it plain for banana kesari rather than adding colour but sometimes I do add.
